These Terms and Conditions govern your use of BEAM Academy's tutoring services and website. By enrolling in our programs or using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

BEAM Academy provides tutoring services for Years 7-12 students in Mathematics, English, Chemistry, and Physics. Our services include:

• Small group tutoring classes (maximum 8 students)
• Access to the Student Portal for enrolled students
• Custom worksheets and learning materials
• 24/7 Discord community support

2. Enrolment and Trial Lessons

Trial lessons are provided free of charge with no obligation to enrol. Enrolment is confirmed upon payment of the first week's fees. We reserve the right to decline enrolment at our discretion.

3. Fees and Payment

• Fees are charged weekly in advance
• Payment is due before each week's lessons
• Multi-subject discounts apply as advertised on our website
• Fees are subject to change with 4 weeks' notice

4. Attendance and Cancellations

• Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons
• Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend
• Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may not be eligible for make-up classes
• Make-up lessons are offered subject to availability

5. Withdrawals

To withdraw from our program:

• Provide at least 2 weeks' written notice
• Notice can be given via email to [email protected]
• Fees paid in advance for the notice period are non-refundable

6. Student Conduct

Students are expected to:

• Treat tutors and fellow students with respect
• Come prepared for lessons with necessary materials
• Complete assigned homework and practice
• Follow instructions given by tutors

We reserve the right to discontinue services if a student's behaviour is disruptive or inappropriate.

7. Student Portal

The Student Portal is for use by enrolled students and their parents/guardians only. Login credentials must not be shared. We reserve the right to suspend access for misuse.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by BEAM Academy, including worksheets, lesson content, and portal resources, are our intellectual property. Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without written permission.

9. Liability

While we strive to provide high-quality tutoring, we cannot guarantee specific academic results. BEAM Academy is not liable for:

• Academic outcomes or examination results
• Loss of data from the Student Portal
• Personal property lost or damaged on our premises

10. Photography and Testimonials

We may take photographs or videos during lessons for marketing purposes. Please inform us in writing if you do not consent. Testimonials may be used on our website and marketing materials.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
