Terms and Conditions

These terms explain bookings, fees and use of services provided by BEAM Academy HSC Pty Ltd (ABN 19 693 809 013). Please read them with our Refunds and Cancellations policy and Privacy Policy, and the details of your booking.
Bookings and enrolment
We confirm the student's class, schedule and fees with you before paid enrolment. A free diagnostic or trial does not oblige you to enrol. A parent or guardian should arrange and authorise enrolment for a student under 18.
Please provide accurate contact and student details and tell us about changes that affect lessons or communication. Let us know about relevant learning or safety needs so we can discuss suitable support.
Fees and payment
Your enrolment confirmation and invoice set out the lessons, total payable, applicable discounts and payment due date. Any applicable GST is included in the total payable shown on your invoice. Ask us to clarify any discrepancy before payment.
Mid-term enrolments are prorated for the agreed remaining lessons. Additional subjects, holiday programmes and individual sessions require a separate agreement on the schedule and price. We will explain any proposed fee change before it applies to a new booking or renewal; these terms do not retrospectively change an agreed price.
Cancellations, refunds and credits
For individual lesson refunds or credits, give at least one week's notice (7 days). A combined maximum of two lesson refunds or credits applies per student per term, across all subjects. We can consider an exception to the notice requirement for a valid reason or emergency; an approved exception still counts towards the term allowance.
Please read our Refunds and Cancellations policy for how to request a remedy, what happens if BEAM cancels, and your Australian Consumer Law rights. Statutory remedies are not limited by our notice requirement or term allowance.
To change subjects or end enrolment, contact us so we can confirm your remaining lessons and account balance in writing. No new withdrawal penalty is created by these terms.
Attendance and respectful conduct
Please arrive on time and let us know about absences. Students should treat tutors and other students respectfully, follow reasonable safety instructions and use learning systems responsibly. We will discuss concerns with the family and may pause participation where reasonably necessary to address a safety risk or serious disruption, subject to applicable rights and refund obligations.
Parents and guardians should make appropriate arrangements for travel, arrival and collection. Please tell us promptly about any collection issue or relevant change in emergency contact details.
Learning and materials
We provide tutoring and feedback to support learning. Outcomes depend on a range of factors, and we do not guarantee a particular mark, ranking, examination result or school offer. This does not limit our responsibility to provide services with due care and skill or meet other applicable consumer guarantees.
Materials supplied for lessons are for the student's personal learning, subject to the rights of BEAM and any third-party copyright owner. Do not sell or publicly distribute materials without permission or another lawful basis. Students should submit their own work and use support consistently with their school's academic rules.
Online support and privacy
Use online support channels respectfully and follow the relevant platform's rules and age requirements. Do not share another person's personal information or private messages without permission. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling and how to contact us with a concern. Promotional use of identifiable student images, work or testimonials requires separate permission.
Consumer rights and complaints
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Contact admin@beamacademy.info or 0491 791 447 with questions or complaints so we can review the issue and discuss an appropriate resolution.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and Australia, without limiting any mandatory rights or forums available to you. Updates will be published with a new revision date and will not retrospectively remove rights under an existing booking.
