HSC Physics
Physics asks for two things at once: a physical picture that is right, and the algebra to carry it through. Classes separate the two, because a student who has lost marks needs to know which one failed.

How the week works
Classes run in small groups at the Epping rooms, with the tutor reading the working as it happens.
Homework each week comes out of what the lesson showed, so it targets the thing that went wrong.

Questions parents ask
- Is this the new syllabus?
- Yes. Physics moved to the 2025 syllabus and the first HSC under it is 2028. Students still finishing the earlier course are taught against that one; say which you are on when you book.
- Does a student need Extension 1 maths for Physics?
- No, but the mathematics is the part that most often costs marks. Where that is what is going wrong, the tutor will say so rather than drilling more physics.
- What happens in the free trial?
- Your child sits a real class with the group they would join. The tutor works through their current school task, watches the working, and tells you afterwards what they saw.
- How much does it cost?
- Fees are set by year group and are listed on this page. There is no enrolment fee and no lock-in term.
- Where are you?
