What we teach

Maths and English run across Years 7 to 10. Science support is added in Years 9 and 10 to build the foundations senior subjects rely on.

Algebra, equations, geometry, measurement, statistics, probability, indices, surds and trigonometry foundations. Tutors check the working, not only the final answer, so a repeated error gets found and corrected.
Reading comprehension, grammar and vocabulary, essay structure, text analysis, and creative and persuasive writing. Writing is marked against what the task is asking for, not only spelling and grammar.
Offered in Years 9 and 10. Calculation, formula, graph and topic foundations that prepare students for senior Physics and Chemistry, taught with the same attention to method as the Maths classes.
The free trial checks the student's current work and level before BEAM recommends a class. Lessons can follow current schoolwork and upcoming assessments while still addressing the gaps underneath.
